How It Works
The CPC Process, Simplified
Form & Fund the CPC
Experienced founders establish the CPC and raise its initial capital pool.
Step 1
IPO & Trade as a CPC
The CPC completes its IPO and begins trading on TSXV under a ticker with a “.P” suffix.
Step 2
Identify & Announce QT
The CPC identifies a target company, negotiates the transaction, and announces the Qualifying Transaction.
Step 3
Close & Transition
After the QT closes, the CPC transitions into the operating business and trades under its new issuer name and ticker.
